The process
How the Academy works
Assessment lesson with your coach
The first lesson is an assessment. Your coach analyzes your play, finds your weak points and understands your goals. Without this, no real plan can be designed.
Training plan built with Tomás
Based on the assessment, GM Tomás Sosa and your coach design a personal training plan: what to study, in what order and with which material from the platform.
Weekly lessons + homework on the platform
Every week you work with your coach on the areas in your plan. Between lessons you have homework and material on the platform to reinforce it. Plus the weekly group class with an IM.
Monthly progress report
Every month your coach sends you a report: what improved, what's still pending and how the plan changes for next month. Rating gains aren't an accident, they're the result.

International Grandmaster (2551 FIDE), born in Argentina and based in Barcelona. Argentina Olympiad Captain. More than 12 years coaching 1200–2200 rated players in over 15 countries.
The Academy formalizes something I've been doing for years: sending students to trusted GM, IM, FM and CM coaches, with a method I designed. The difference is that now it's all structured, on one platform, with real follow-up.
It's not a recorded course you buy and forget. It's a coach who knows you, a plan that evolves and results measured in real rating points.
FAQ
What people usually ask
Can I change coaches?
Yes. Every student is entitled to one free coach change. If after a few lessons you feel the fit isn't right, we sort it out at no extra cost.
What if I don't use all my lessons in a month?
Unused lessons can be made up until the following month; after that they're lost. If you know you won't be able to take them one month, let us know in advance.
How do I cancel a lesson?
With 24 hours' notice, no problem at all. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or don't show up, the lesson counts as given.
What level is the Academy for?
We work with players rated 1200 to 2200. Every student gets a plan designed for their specific level, not generic content.
Are the lessons live or recorded?
One-to-one lessons are live, by video call (Meet or Zoom). The weekly group class is also live with an IM.
What times can I have lessons?
Our coaches are available across different time zones. When you sign up, we assign you a coach that fits your schedule. We cover Europe, Latin America and more.
Can I cancel my subscription whenever I want?
Yes, there's no minimum term. You can cancel at any time from your student dashboard and you won't be charged the following month.
